The Annual Parish Meeting, happening this year on Thursday 28th April, is the greatest opportunity for every single parishioner to meet their parish councillors, understand what business is transacted on their behalf, and to air concerns, express hopes, and even if you are so inclined, to thank the councillors for giving up their time on our behalf. You can also meet the leader of Torridge District Council, which amongst other things is our planning authority.
The meeting will be in the Methodist Chapel and will start at 7 p.m., lasting until 8 p.m., at which time the parish councillors will meet separately to transact business as usual. All parish council meetings are open to the public – there are no secrets. Get to know your community and how it works.

4 Becoming a Parish Councillor – a new 4-year term starts in May 2023
