At last Thursday’s meeting, the Parish Council considered a suggestion that the parish should have a flagpole. There are a few occasions each year, like the recent Jubilee celebrations, when a Union Flag could be flown, and, of course, those more solemn occasions when it would be at half-mast. At other times, the Devon flag, or something else, might be appropriate.
What do you think? Should we have one? What would we fly on it and when? Where would it go?
