Readers, this article is not to panic you in any way, but finances will bite ever harder as the government examines value for its money in every penny allocated to local governments. Thus there is a distinct risk that our minimalist bus service, underwritten by Devon County Council, may get cut even further.
Use it or lose it will always be the mantra. Our parish clerk is trying very hard to gather data which will serve towards getting the best of any bus we have. He has put together a survey which asks what use it gets and what would be a better use of it, should it change.
Many of you won’t go anywhere near the 372 bus but it’s possible you know someone who does and who needs it. Please could you complete the attached survey regardless of how much you use the bus and also, please bring it to the attention of the more needy who may not use our website.
