Readers may be interested in one of the pics within the current slideshow – caption is ‘Members in action at the “BB Badminton for All Club” silly night’. This particular “silly night ” was Guy Fawkes NIght (for those rusty on their hisotry that was November 5th).
Robin and Lynda (Davies) who run the club have asked me to share with you – “Every Tuesday evening the Badminton Fun club play a vaguely familiar game involving racquets, shuttlecocks nets and two courts. There are few rules and even fewer skills but we get some exercise and have a lot of laughs.
Once a year we hold a silly night, during which we play an odd variation of badminton lubricated with homemade wine, punch and various nibbles.
