Many parishioners will already be aware that the long-standing head at our Federated School, Gina Finch, left for pastures new last Friday. We wish her well in her new venture.
With effect from yesterday, the new Head is Matt Cole, who has been Head of Woolsery School for some time. Welcome to Matt from all of us in Buckland.
The history is that there has recently been a statutory consultation to form a federation between Buckland Brewer, Parkham and Woolsery schools. Both Boards voted to proceed with the federation, which will take place on 25th April 2022.
