Further and more detailed news on this will follow in coming weeks as it is released to us, but the good news is that Buckland Brewer will be joining the national celebrations.
The following is an outline of what is expected to happen, with different organisations and individuals managing different events:
Thursday 2nd June – Lighting of the Beacon at 9.45 p.m. – Hosted by the Playing Field Association.
Friday 3rd June – “Royal” Quiz – evening event at Coach and Horses pub, hosted by Oliver and Nicki, with Alan Sutton in the “Quizimodo” chair.
Sunday 5th June – 4 p.m. (as soon as everyone is sitting down ) – Community Tea free of charge to all parishioners, subsidised by Buckland Brewer Parish Council. To be held at Buckland Brewer Hall.
Hoping to see you at least one of these events, hopefully more.
